Currently, our tax team is looking for a Tax Senior I to join our team. We find our synergetic environment and hands-on approach, along with accessibility to partners is what makes us so effective. Roles and responsibilities
Individuals at this level must have their CPA license, a college degree with a major in accounting, or master’s degree with an appropriate accounting or tax specialization and have three to seven years of relevant public accounting practice experience. Tax Senior I individuals are expected to:
Know and understand the reasons behind the firm’s policies and procedures.
Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise staff accountants.
Have the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and long-term loyalty.
Partner’s discretion as to their overall ability and qualities to work effectively at this level.
Assigned primarily to tax engagements:
Demonstrating a complete command of pertinent IRC sections and regulations.
Proficient at tax research, including a knowledge of the reference sources available to the firm.
Begin assisting with the in-house training sessions aimed at developing staff.
Begin being assigned responsibility for specific client groups and supervision of all tax return preparation and other types of tax engagements for assigned clients.
